Beginning September 18, 2017, Employers Must Exclusively Use The Revised I-9 Form

On September 18, 2017, employers must begin exclusively using the revised I-9 Form with the revision date of 07/17/17. Changes have been made to both the instructions for completing the form and the form itself.  Employers should make sure they are familiar with the new form and instruction changes prior to this September 18th deadline.  Employers must continue to follow existing storage and retention rules for any previously completed I-9 Forms.
