What are your hobbies, interests, or talents outside of law?

Outside of law, I enjoy playing golf in the summer and tennis or pickleball in the winter, reading historical fiction and biographies, exploring new restaurants, and traveling throughout the United States and abroad. I’m also an avid baseball and college football fan, especially following the Cleveland Guardians and Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

Why did you begin practicing in your area of law?

I was drawn to estate planning because of my passion for helping people navigate complex legal and tax issues while incorporating the intricacies of family dynamics, as well as helping clients fulfill their philanthropic goals.  Seeing the impact that providing sound counsel can have on someone’s life motivated me to dedicate my career to this field.

This quote speaks to me because it is so important to really listen to people to gain a full understanding of their dreams and goals as well as what keeps them up at night with worry.  I believe proactive listening helps me to provide good counsel to my clients.

What is your favorite thing about living in Northeast Ohio?

I love the strong sense of community in Northeast Ohio. The people here are hardworking, resilient, and supportive, and I appreciate the mix of city life and natural beauty—whether it’s catching a Guardians game, exploring the Metroparks, enjoying Lake Erie, or taking in the local food scene.
