Announces New Shareholder
Law Firm Adds A New Shareholder in Litigation
Avon, OH, January 5, 2022 – Wickens Herzer Panza Co., Lorain County’s largest law firm, today announced the promotion of Malorie A. Alverson to Shareholder, effective January 1, 2022. “It is really exciting to add Malorie’s skill and dedication to our exceptional group of shareholders,” said Firm President Matt Nakon. “Malorie has grown up in our Firm and is an excellent litigator. She will be a leader in our litigation practice and Firm for many years to come.”
On the promotion, Ms. Alverson said, “I have been fortunate to practice my entire legal career under the mentorship of the talented group of attorneys at WHP. I am now thrilled to be in a position to serve our clients as a shareholder where I will continue to ensure the highest quality legal representation our clients have come to expect from our Firm.”

Ms. Alverson is a member of the Firm's Litigation Department and focuses her practice on advising and representing businesses, governmental agencies, and individuals in all aspects of litigation. She has been with the Firm since 2007, starting as an undergraduate law clerk. She joined WHP as a litigation associate in 2012. Her practice focuses in the area of business litigation with an emphasis on contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, tort-based claims, business ownership disputes, healthcare, and other complex commercial matters. She is also a leader of the Firm's Trust, Estate, & Probate Litigation practice, where she defends the claims and enforces the rights of heirs, beneficiaries, trustees, executors, and other aggrieved parties in matters such as will and trust contests, guardianships, undue influence claims, financial exploitation, fraudulent misuse of powers of attorney, and fiduciary related litigation.
